A Good Start

It all starts when you wake up in the morning,
A good start is always an early start,
Take 10 minutes to re activate all body parts consciously,
All the while keeping a proper breathing pattern,
Once done, take time to bring you self out of bed,
Take it step by step and you will feel much more relax and ready to face a new day.

Fried Rice, Kimchi, Lontong and Burrito

Chinese fried rice served with Xian's sauted beef with seasoning. Served in '07 China trip

Mexican Burrito with bean stuffing and guacamole. Served in '07 Chandler trip. Burrito in US is served in larger portion and have all sort of stuffing to choose from.

Lontong Muar with all the mix thrown in for good measure , served during 07 Hari Raya. Lontong is a mixture of small cut rice cakes, cut vegetables, light curry like gravy and a splash of heavy peanut gravy.

Kimchi in down town Seoul. Served in '07 Seoul trip. Kimchi is a popular and must have Korean dish made out of vegetables mixed and fermented with various seasoning. It goes with almost all Korean dish



The food is as different as the people that prepare them

But at end of the day, a good meal will keep us going , all the same.

Simple Indulgence

Chicken Masala , biryani bashmati rice, chopped long beans and sweet cranberry juice with ice,(?)

New Hijrah Year 1429

Doa Awal Tahun

Maksudnya:
Allah SWT berselawat ke atas penghulu kami Muhammad SAW, ahli keluarga dan sahabat-sahabat baginda dan kesejahteraan ke atas mereka.
Wahai Tuhan, Engkaulah yang kekal abadi, yang qadim. yang awal dan ke atas kelebihanMu yang besar dan kemurahanMu yang melimpah dan ini adalah tahun baru yang telah muncul di hadapan kami. Kami memohon pemeliharaan dariMu di sepanjang tahun ini dari syaitan dan pembantu-pembantunya dan tentera-tenteranya dan juga pertolongan terhadap diri yang diperintahkan melakukan kejahatan dan usaha yang mendekatkanku kepadaMu Wahai Tuhan Yang Maha Agung dan Maha Mulia.
Wahai Tuhan Yang Maha pengasih dari mereka yang mengasihi dan Allah berselawat ke atas penghulu kami Muhammad. Nabi yang ummi dan ke atas ahli keluarga dan sahabat-sahabatnya dan kesejahteraan ke atas mereka.

MUHARAM adalah bulan pertama dalam tahun Islam (Hijrah). Sebelum Rasulullah berhijrah dari Makkah ke Yathrib, kiraan bulan dibuat mengikut tahun Masihi. Hijrah Rasulullah memberi kesan besar kepada Islam sama ada dari sudut dakwah Rasulullah, ukhuwwah dan syiar Islam itu sendiri. Pada asasnya, Muharam membawa maksud 'diharamkan' atau 'dipantang', iaitu Allah SWT melarang melakukan peperangan atau pertumpahan darah. Namun demikian larangan ini ditamatkan setelah pembukaan Makkah (Al Baqarah: 91). Sejak pemansuhan itu, umat Islam boleh melaksanakan tugas dan ibadat harian tanpa terikat lagi dengan larangan berkenaan.

Peristiwa-peristiwa penting:

1 Muharam - Khalifah Umar Al-Khattab mula membuat penetapan kiraan bulan dalam Hijrah.

10 Muharam - Dinamakan juga hari 'Asyura'. Pada hari itu banyak terjadi peristiwa penting yang mencerminkan kegemilangan bagi perjuangan yang gigih dan tabah bagi menegakkan keadilah dan kebenaran.
Pada 10 Muharam juga telah berlaku:

• Nabi Idris diangkat oleh Allah ke langit.
• Nabi Nuh diselamatkan Allah keluar dari perahunya sesudah bumi ditenggelamkan selama enam bulan.
• Nabi Ibrahim diselamatkan Allah dari pembakaran Raja Namrud.
• Allah menurunkan kitab Taurat kepada Nabi Musa
• Nabi Yusuf dibebaskan dari penjara
• Nabi Yunus selamat keluar dari perut ikan paus setelah berada di dalamnya selama 40 hari 40 malam
• Laut Merah terbelah dua untuk menyelamatkan Nabi Musa dan pengikutnya dari tentera Firaun
• Allah menjadikan 'Arasy.
• Allah menjadikan 'Arasy.
• Allah menjadikan alam.
• Allah menjadikan Malaikat Jibril.
• Nabi Isa diangkat ke langit.

Gelang Magnet

Gelang magnet memang hebat, infact there is a study being conducted on its medicinal value in curing cancer in Univeristy Utara Malaysia
I am wearing one as to regulate my irregular and erratic sometimes bordering on throbbing blood movement or pressure or something like that.
According to my better half , Intan, who was instrumental in me getting one, by regulating my blood , it will solve my pimple issues. I do have my doubt since I have tried everything possible since I was 17 to fix my facial concerns, but heck I gonna give it a try.
Gelang magnet or known to English speaking snobs in Msia as Magnetic bracelet or bangle is now a world phenom. People are wearing them and these folks are transforming their lives from sob losers to winners. The likes of Obama, KJ and Tony Fernandez, Lim Kit Siang, K Toyo and Chua Soi Lek has made the magnet bracelet wearing folks look cool, ok maybe not Chua Soi Lek.
My pimple may be attributed to my raging hormones , even at the age of 30+ still rages on (maybe Dr Phil can help explain that), but after almost 2 months of wearing the bracelet, I feel a change in my complextion. Friends around me have also notice and start to compliment. All of a sudden I feel like a 16 year old in From 4 , ever pining for peer adulation and acceptance.
You too can be that 16 years old girl. Call me for a gelang magnet- RM80 a pop!
