New Jersey is not a dump

A dump site is where garbage are kept and left to rot. A dump is often used to refer to a particular place. New Yorkers for example like to call New Jersey as a dump. Having visited part of Jersey and having a through and through Jersey friend -I cannot make similar wild generalization but would agree that the sleazy part of Jersey has some resemblance to a dump site.
In January O9 I relocated myself and the family soon after to the most dense and populated valley in the peninsula of malaya. It soon dawn upon me that some part of this town is a real DUMP ( note the use of capital letters). More details in my next posting.

Another arab joint in the lil' arab section at jalan damai, ampang KL. Rice cook with lamb meat , lebanese style. Verdict: rice was good and lamb has nice texture.

Kudu myth debunked!

All the hype was put to rest with a visit cum lunch at the famous kudu nasi kandar. The verdict on the food: ordinary! The one special thing about the place, it was P Ramlee favorite place. Being another penang boy plying trades in kl, I can certainly relate to Tan Sri P Ramlee sweating it out here the 60's and a place like Kudu must have been like heaven.
