Tennis and why we play them

Tennis has always been a favorite past time sport. It all started after I watched Ivan Lendl (kids, pls look it up if you don't know who Lendl is) on telly. He was such a gracful player of the sport. Those we the years when the baton of tennis supremacy was passed on from the Conners, and McEnroes to the Lendls and Beckers. Becker of course took center stage when he captured the winmbledon title at the tender age fo 18. That was the dawn of teenager on slaugth at the worl top 20 ranking. After Becker, nothing was the same anymore. Now back to Lendl, he was a Chezchlovakian (no longer in world map) and now resides in Florida (where else). While you would bet that his kids (he has 4 girls) would follow his footstep and enroll into one of many tennis academy in Florida, but that is not the case at all. Instead, his girls are showing of thier skill on the fairway and greens of America's junior gold circuit and they are great at it. Good enough for one of them to win all american junior tourney. This bring us to whole point of this posting, which is to high light yours truly very own experience. Playing tennis and then switching to golf and now playing both sport. While the level of participation of the Lendls' is too high to even be spoken inthe same conversation with that of yours truly, it is nevertheless worth contemplating the similiarity.
