Auto gate and my beloved wife

I love my wife to death. She can certainly put up with my most disgusting behavior and still love me for who I am. At same time, I loves her imperfection. When ever she ask me what makes me love her so much, I would note on her insignificant imperfection.

So what does the auto gate got to do with this public show of love. Well, it got to do with my wife need of an auto gate. Either it is for safety, convenience or just plain laziness, she wants her auto gate. So when we move to our current house 2 years ago, I hastily installed an auto gate that fit her need. Unknown to me at that time, there are better auto gates in the market.

Sure enough the auto gate 'exploded' one of its roller off last week and I wasnt around. To my astonishment, my wife was able to unscrew the arm and free up the whole gate panel.

Today we installed a new auto gate that is safer (halt when stop by hand). Being a thrifty person that value every cent, I was known as some one who would think 800 times before spending for such thing which I consider a luxury. But staying to true to my affection to my wife, I didnt even think twice about putting the new gate.
Some people people buy new computer, I but auto gate.

As for the LCD 34' color TV, well that have to wait till I can save up another RM2000.

English Premier League and the kaki judi that make them big

While I was busy hopping planes and trying my best to catch US master in airports lounges, some people are actually talking about the Big Sunday clash between Arsenal and Manchester United.
Just when I thought that we have passed this fixation on English soccer when Robbie Fowler left Liverpool for Leeds in November 2001, I am obviously wrong.
A quick change of radio channel to any of the overly high andrenalin pumping english speaking shows , you can hear that English football is much the talk of town
The fact that Kedah has secured the Malaysia Premier League was never mentioned or talk too in any of these pretentious radios shows. But when it comes to English football, they seems to know everything.
What a pity? They are missing the excitement of watching the game in stadium , not on their sofas or at kedai mamaks.
Doesn't help one bit when you have Singaporean on paid cable TV talking their ass off about english soccer. Singaporean talking about soccer in general is already a crime in some states. (they call it soccer..soccer my behind!)
The only reason why english soccer is big in Malaysia and other Asean countries is bcos of the illegal bets that its generate. The pundits information that comes with each games and the bunch of legal internet gambling sites catering for each games , generate such info tsunami that you can't really tell on what is legit and what is not.
Now for the normal kids growing up today, they get sucks into it and thinking it is the best in the world and local football scene sucks. None of them have ever support and watch local outfit fighting it out in a stadium near me and you. No one talks about English clubs/players like we used to in the 80's. You will have your favorites there but then you will always relate your local player to the one there. How Penang's Rukumaran , a left legged winger, would be compared to Spurs's Waddle. How Mat Zan Mat Aris of Kedah has similar style to that Tony Adam's of Arsenal.

Thing turn for the worst when you throw in cable tv now have the ability to form public thoughts and interest while we get fix on the notion that English Premier League is the football that everyone should watch and Singaporean are the pundit and show presenters that we should listen too.
Time to drive down your local stadium and check out the next match. Watching a game live in a real stadium (no, your couch/sofa/tv set is not a stadium, you moron!) will change your life!
I am too disgust to write any further!

Defrocking Immelman

Trevor Immelman is the new US master 2008 champion
All done in quiet fashion, much to the dismay of TV world of America
No big 100 feet put, no unexpected eagle , no show of emotion. All under checked.

No big come from behind that is expected of Tiger.
He couldn't get a birdie on Sunday even to save his very life. Still end up solo second, again without much funfare.
The only drama is this escape from water on the 15th on Sunday . *sigh*

The whole thing was too soft for me. I need the sama drama as the last British Open.
Give me Padraig, Garcia and Romero anytime!

Chevy Tahoe - Hybrid

This is the all new Chevy Tahoe 2008 and its hybrid!
There is something about this overgrown SUV that gives me goose bump. The photo might not give you a real indication on how big this SUV is. I have seen it and this monster can take your Honda CRV and put in it's back bonet!
If this car is a man, he won't be American at all, instead he is a brooding 40 something spaniard. High on testorone and never worry about ED syndrome.
Check here to build on your Chevy Tahoe 2008 hybrids.
Another SUV in same class is the Cadillac Escalade (Jack Bauer's)

Food Blog - New Mexico

It is a mixture of Mexican and American food.

Back in Albuquerque, New Mexico this week. Gusty wind as usual and a bit cold especially at night (35F). The convertible Mustang is the Ford that I didn't get, as I drove myself to the hotel in a Ford Fusion . No picture required for the Fusion.
